For the last 41 years, our community has come together at the International Summerfest to celebrate the many cultures that make up Battle Creek. The annual festival has served as a fun and engaging way to learn about the many cultures within Battle Creek through food, art and entertainment. However, the current COVID-19 pandemic requires us to refrain from large gatherings and events for everyone’s safety. Therefore, it is with sadness that we are canceling the 2020 International Summer Festival scheduled for August of 2020. In the meantime, we will continue to celebrate and uplift the many vibrant cultures in our city, and we look forward to planning an even bigger and better festival in 2021.
